Notes: Paler than Helmeted Friarbird & Hornbill Friarbird w. silvery crown, angular rear edge to
bare black facial skin. Prominent casque on nominate ssp argenticeps, smaller on kempi. Silvery
white gorget, short ruff on hindneck. Red iris. Voice loud, harsh, croaking, squawking. In & near
riparian woodlands, monsoon forests, mangroves, parks, gardens.
