Notes: Adult: olive-green body, yellow belly & mostly dark blue wings. dark bill. Male: yellow
extends behind eye; dark blue frontal band narrowly bordered above w. pale blue. Female: duller,
paler yellow face. Cf Rock Parrot (duller green, lacks the yellow on face), Elegant Parrot (yellower)
& Orange-bellied Parrot (bright grass green, yellow & blue w. bright orange patch between legs).
Call a very high, thin, chiming "zit zit." Forages on ground. Grassland, saltmarsh, rough pastures.
