Notes: Medium-sized, thick-necked, silvery-grey petrel. Long black-tipped pink bill & bluish tube-
nose. Gull-like white flash in dark wing-tip. Stiff-winged flight. Slightly larger than Cape Petrel.
Breeds around Antarctica, but regular migrant north to Chile, especially in winter. Less common
off southern Australia.
