Notes: Smaller than
Bassian Thrush. Rump & upper tail coverts quite plain & russet coloured - no
pale shafts on the median covert feathers; broad buff tips to greater &
median wing-coverts form two wing-bars, unlike Bassian; small head, proportionately
longer bill. The only thrush on Mt Glorious, SE Qld. Song distinctive "whee-doo".
Forages in rainforest below 700m w. some winter movement to lower altitude wet habitats.
