Notes: Small. Stubby yellow bill, long wedge-shaped tail. White
under-parts including 'trousers' — cf larger
Pied Cormorant which has black 'trousers'. Breeding: Short erectile forecrown
crest; yellow-orange bill; bare facial skin & gular pouch blackish.
Non-breeding: bill & gular pouch yellow. Juvenile: bill grey-pink; dusky
face to below eye. Nests in loose colonies in waterside trees. Usually alone
when foraging in watery habitats; a benthic feeder.
