whitish straight line from gape to
below eye. Ssp mab paler; longer, finer bill than nominate
lewinii;
amphochlora pale yellowish-olive tone. Voice: Rapid staccato machine-gun
call, compared
to the loud repeated whistles of the
Yellow-spotted & the
simpler, single note call of Graceful.
In N mostly above 600m, but in winter & in S down to sea-level.
