Notes: Plain w. indistinct yellow plume w. black spot at upper end. Flight feathers broadly edged
olive-yellow giving bright yellowish panel in folded wing & outer tail. Nominate fusca breeding: bill
& gape all black; iris dark brown. Non-breeding: base of lower mandible, eye-ring, gape yellowish.
Ssp subgermanus smaller, paler w. olive-yellow wash on crown, face, chin & throat; unstreaked or
