Notes: Originally thought to be just another Bridled Honeyeater but has all-black bill;
dark grey-brown; pale streaks on underparts; whitish streak passes from gape to
under eye, curving up behind it. Upswept white ear-covert plumes. Forages mainly
in rainforest canopy, among foliage of trees & flowers of Pandanus Vine. Above 900 m.
