Notes: Medium-sized dusky honeyeater. Bright yellow base to black bill. Large white fan-shaped
patch behind eye. Usually an orange bare spot below eye, joined to white line to gape. Iris blue-
grey. In rainforests, wet eucalypt forests usually above 300m but some winter movement to
lower altitudes.
