Notes: Toy-like. (Cf Green Pygmy-goose) Male black bill, white face, neck. Dark green cap,
smudgy collar, wings with bold white bar across. Collar black when breeding. Female duller;
long dark eyeline, brownish green back, wings. In flight note bold white stripe through primaries.
Inhabits deep permanent lagoons & lakes w. abundant waterlilies, feeding on aquatic vegetation.
