Notes: Rich chestnut w. pure white head, mantle & breast. Black outer primaries. Bill creamy
yellow; cere cream to pale blue. Juvenile a darker brownish-black w. paler head. When perched
wing-tips extend beyond tail (unlike Whistling Kite). Soars on slightly raised wings, gently
rounded tail. Primarily a waterside scavenger, feeding mainly on dead fish & crabs.
