Oriental Pratincole w. more upright stance & long black wing-tips,
crossed
when standing. Long legs. Breeding: red base to bill. Non-breeding: paler lores, dark
flecks on throat, brown mottling on upperparts. Darts and bobs head. On arid,
semi-arid plains,
(recently burnt) grasslands. Near wetlands for drinking.
