Notes: More rufous plumage than slightly larger Superb Lyrebird. Female tail shorter than male,
without filamentous feathers; central feathers broader, straighter. Usually heard before seen,
very powerful song with mimicry.Male displays from vines or fallen branches just above cleared
ground. In wet sclerophyll rainforests foraging in deep leaf litter, rotting logs.
