Master Bathroom

Shower Light

The sorry shower light/fan was replaced with a new one, changing the wiring so that it too could have the light switched with the room lights and the fan separately switched. A fan hood that opens by force of the fan blowing from Home Hardware was fitted in the ceiling cavity to keep draughts at bay. And fibreglass insulation batts were set into the ceiling and the wall behind the mirror.

Mirror

The mirror in the master bathroom was badly cracked due to someone knocking one of the light fittings. Alligator Glass supplied a new one to order: 4 mm mirror glass with smoothed edges, 770 x 1460 mm with 2 x 100 mm dia holes for the light fittings. $176.00 and they delivered it at no charge.

A ring of neutral-cure silicone sealer around each hole provided a cushion for the glass with the light fittings screwed into place.
