Golden-headed Cisticola v. difficult. Ssp leanyeri is strongly rufous in tone;
normani is
rather dull, with pale cinnamon rump; laveryi is like last,
but more heavily streaked above in
non-breeding plumage, breeding female has small
tail mirrors. Habitat grassy swamps, coastal
plains of sand-couch, mangrove margins.
