Notes: Large, long-tailed. Upperparts green, breast plum-purple, abdomen yellow. Eye red.
Only fruit-dove with unbanded tail. Young Wompoos are duller & greener than the adults.
Ssp in the north smaller than those in the south. Eponymous loud call. Forages fruits,
particularly figs and laurels, in (sub)tropical rainforest, especially lowland areas.
