Notes: Large shearwater, w. long wedge-shaped tail.
Small head, long bill, slender body.
In flight: close to water;
broad pointed wings, held well forward at carpal. Dark morph &
rare pale morph. Often observed from land. Breeds islands off NSW, WA
N to Ashmore Reef.
