mauve-pink wash on breast, bright green-yellow ear-patch.
Female duller, less color on head &
breast.
Juvenile bill brown, green hindcrown. Very swift flight.
Blossom nomad. In eucalypt,
paperbark forests of
tropical lowlands. Rare E of the Gulf of Carpentaria.
