Notes: Small. Ssp minimus prominent white eyelids and streak above lores, breast quite heavily
streaked dark, less so in S of range; male has contrasting black lores; female duller w. poorly
marked face pattern; dubius plainer plumage, browner underparts, merging into pale buffy white
on chin and throat, creamy buff on belly; lores & ear-coverts rusty brown. In thick rainforest
habitats where it forages in the lower canopy and on the ground.
