Notes: Large flycatcher. Male: entirely glossy blue-black w. steel-blue bill. Female: glossy
black cap, to hindneck & gape; rufous upperparts, white under. Ssp melvillensis long slender
bill, fine rictal bristles. wardelli shorter, broader bill, thick rictal bristles. Continually flicks tail.
Active, noisy, lowest few metres of ground. In waterside habitats.
