Notes: Greenest, glossiest bronze-cuckoo. Unlike Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo no distinct eye-stripe,
no exposed rufous in tail, only two undertail bars. Adult ssp plagosus ("Golden Bronze-Cuckoo")
often flecked white on forehead, wholly dark bill. Ssp lucidus (Shining Bronze-Cuckoo") from New
Zealand, forehead scalloped white, base of bill pale. Mainly in canopy of forests and woodlands.
