Notes: Glossy Black above ( Paperbark Flycatcher more so). Flight feathers browner than PbF.
Underparts white for male, buff wash to upper breast for female. Black tail. Long slender
bill; short rictal bristles. Voice: clear whistled "tui-tui-tui” & buzzing scissors-grinder sound.
Forages w. distinctive hovering technique. Widespread in open eucalypt woodland, mallee.
