Notes: Bright green, bug-eyed parrot. Male: red forehead, face;
violet-blue crown;
bill red above, grey below; iris yellow. Female: head
olive-brown; bill grey; iris white.
Underwing coverts pale blue. Juvenile:
greenish overall with dark iris & orange bill that
turns grey. Forages
mostly in canopy of rainforest trees on fruits, seeds, blossoms, buds.
