Notes: Medium sized snipe, appears practically the same as
Swinhoe's Snipe. Flatter flight path,
shorter tailed, & lacks the white trailing edge to wings of
Common Snipe. Unlike
Latham's Snipe,
shows extensive toe-trailing
in flight. Breeds in northern Russia, non-breeding in southern India,
SE Asia.
