Notes: Bright green w. broad red band extending from
forehead & lores past ear-coverts. Crown
tinged blue, less so
on cheeks. Bronze mantle. Bright yellow patch on sides. Bill orange-red
w.
blackish tip. Female has less extensive blue on crown, none on
cheeks. Immature duller, w. dull
red head markings. Ssp didimus
shorter bill than nominate concinna; less blue on crown of male,
none on female. Nomadic; moves in response to flowering eucalypts.
