Notes: Similar to
Western Gerygone but broad white supercilium extends behind eye; black &
white tail pattern less bold. Iris red. Nominate ssp levigaster smaller
than cantator. Juvenile dark
iris, creamy eyering rather than white supercilium, creamy brown overall. Forages in mangroves,
adjacent forests, woodlands.
In SW Kimberley ~ in paperbark woodlands < 20 km from coast.
