Notes: Tiny. Pale rufous crown, white streaking under the eye & to ear coverts. Iris brown.
Tail shorter, less strongly filamentous than Southern Emu-wren. Male: blue throat, face &
ear-coverts streaked black; black bill. Female: no blue; dark brown bill. Restricted to Murray
Mallee with mature spinifex.
