Notes: A small grey-brown robin showing white outer tail-feathers.
Dark eyemark, slight white
eyebrow; grey-brown above, largely white underparts.
Wags tail upon landing. Ssp assimilis is
very similar to nominate
fascinans, however, it is darker, w. more grey over the breast & flanks.
pallida is smaller & more pallid than the other two subspecies;
usually a sandy brown colour.
Lives in open woodlands, where it perches prominently.
Hunts by plucking prey from the ground.
