Notes: Introduced from India. The peacock is iridescent blue, w. a predominantly blue fan-like
crest of spatula-tipped wire-like feathers; the long train is made up of elongated upper-tail
covert feathers which bear colourful eyespots. Peahens lack the train, & have an iridescent
greenish lower neck & duller brown plumage. They forage on the ground in small groups.
