Notes: Medium sized w. distinct grey crown above a blackish mask bordered behind & below
by bright yellow plume & paler moustachial stripe. Iris dark brown. Underparts yellow, streaked
pale brown. Breeding: bill & gape all black. Non-breeding: base of lower mandible & gape
yellowish. Mainly low, open, arid & semi-arid woodlands, typically in sandstone ranges.
