Notes: Largest Babbler. Narrow grey crown, broad white eyebrow. Adult: pale yellow eye;
juvenile: dark brown eye. Nominate ssp temporalis adult grey belly, wide white tail tips.
Ssp rubeculus smaller, adult rufous belly, narrow white tail tips. Common in N & C Australia.
Open native forests & woodlands, typically dominated by mature gums or ironbarks.
