Notes: Largest cormorant, much larger than Little Black Cormorant. Horn-coloured hooked bill.
White patches on cheeks w. yellow facial skin. Breeding: glossy black w. white chin & flank patch,
short nuptual plumes. Non-breeding: duller; without white markings. Juvenile: browner, off-white
mottling on underparts. Inland & coastal waters — diving for fish.
