Notes: Medium-sized cuckoo. Yellow eye-ring.
Underparts light rufous w. belly subtly paler than
breast &
undertail coverts. Heavy white barring underside, obvious white
spots on edge of upper-
tail. Female: paler rufous underparts.
Juvenile: uniform warm brown above; densely mottled
breast.
Well-timbered areas w. good understory. Brood parasite: scrubwrens, fairywrens.
