Notes: Small, slender, plain dusky brown. Ssp obscura: iris
dark brown, bill black; gape can be
black or yellow; most have indistinct dusky
stripe on centre of throat. Flight feathers edged pale
grey. Some w. hints of
red. Ssp harterti darker, less grey, throat stripe more distinct. Typically
lives in dense coastal vegetation, including nearby gardens. Active, alert, swift flight.
