Notes: Dark, rather plain; bold white streaking on head,
mantle, breast; rufous lores;
underparts buff-grey. Female's flanks
chestnut. Voice: a sharp, metallic tutting in alarm
or a drawn-out seeeep contact call; also trills, whistles, etc. Exclusively on rocky spinifex-
clad slopes w. tumbled boulders/scree in
Central Australia — common in Ormiston Gorge.
