Notes: All-white wings, dark head. Breeding plumage has darker head & upper breast, than
Javan Pond-Heron;
rufous crest plumes (not whitish buff); shorter-winged, smaller-billed,
smaller-bodied.
Non-breeding plumage very similar to Javan, with brown body & yellow legs
then.
