Notes: Small w. thin pointed bill. Plain, soft brown upperparts w. white scalloping on forehead,
white iris, bold rufous rump patch, pale underparts w. no striations, largely black uppertail.
Forages in small flocks in understory bushes & also on the ground. In woodland & shrubland
across much of arid inland temperate Aust.
