Notes: Gigantic cuckoo; red eye-ring, long tail, enormous pale bill. Mostly pale grey, w. darker
wings & tail. Female: shorter bill, less dark base to bill; more obvious dark barred underparts.
Noisy. Typically roosts in fruiting fig trees. Brooding parasite (Sep–Mar): especially to Torresian
Crow & Pied Currawong.
