Notes: Smaller, plump, broader wings, darker than Common Bronzewing.
Grey crown, irridescent colours in wing. Male: chestnut mantle, throat;
chestnut-buff forehead, throat. Female: muted colours, reduced area on throat.
Voice: loud whoo repeated ~ 2 sec. Terrestrial, in dense vegetation.
