Notes: A little larger than stints. Bill black & straight, wide & downturned at tip. Dark eye-stripe;
split white supercilium w. broader 'lower' & narrow 'upper', converging in forehead. The crown-
stripe is fainter in non-breeding plumage. Tidal mudflats, reefs, wetlands — near-vertical probing;
favours muddy ooze.

Range from eBird^©(last 10 years). Migrant from Siberian bogs.
