Notes: Pastel colours. Male: blue shoulder in folded wing; pale blue uppertail coverts, outer tail
feathers large white tips; touch of blue on forehead. Female: slightly less colourful, lacks blue
forehead & eyebrow. Juvenile: dull colours, pale bill. Arid shrublands, foraging on ground.
Drinks early & late.
