Notes: Blue-grey upperparts. Black face & bib, pale eyering. Hooked pale blue bill. Blue-grey
breast demarcated from rufous belly. Tail w/o white tips. Juvenile no face mask, pale spot in
front of eye, brown tinge to wings. Cf Black-winged Monarch. Forages in denser parts of mid-
level forests.
