Streaked black flecked and edged white
brown upperparts. White
undertail-coverts forming inverted V when viewed from rear (cf
Baillon's
Crake). Female: grey face.
Very fast moving, constantly flicks tail. On marshy edges of well-
vegetated
fresh & saline wetlands.
